It is our esprit and our passion for the authentic. Grown out of the conviction that true gourmet enjoyment comes less from exotic gimmicks and more from a return to the real thing.
Chinese Restaurant «Blun-chi»: Enjoy authentic chinese cooking in Gstaad: Blun-Chi is the only chinese restaurant in Gstaad and the surrounding region. Our kitchen is authentically chinese in all respects and we use only fresh products. Awarded 14 points again by GaultMillau in 2024!
Restaurant «La Gare»: Raclette, Fondue and classically Swiss cuisine. The rustic restaurant La Gare, directly next to the Gstaad train station, welcomes you throughout the day: Enjoy a hearty breakfast, a cup of coffee and a newspaper, a glass of beer in the evening – as well as wholesome and delicious Swiss cuisine throughout the day. Awarded 13 points again by GaultMillau in 2024!

Restaurant La Gare
In the rustic restaurant "La Gare", right next to the train station in Gstaad, have a leisurely breakfast, read the newspaper over a coffee or enjoy a beer in the afternoon.
Enjoy good and tasty Swiss cuisine all day long, from raclette to fondue and other classics from the region.
Locanda Dalsass
At the ‘Locanda Dalsass’, nomen est omen! Because this gourmet restaurant is a tribute to our friend and 18-point & 1* Michelin chef Martin Dalsass.

At Pizza.Basta. even the most traditional classics will have a special note of passion and love, a unique Bernerhof note.
Enjoy small delicacies such as bruschetta with your aperetif, crispy pizza from the "Izzo" oven and, of course, fine desserts from the dessert trolley.
Cigar Lounge Smoking
Enjoyment in the Bernerhof's most beautiful retreat for cigar and whisky lovers.
In the "SMOKING" you can gaze at the blue clouds in a stylish ambience and confidently forget the world outside for a while. The well-stocked Nüesch Humidor with cigars from Cuba - as well as a huge selection of single malts and other fine spirits - also contribute to the cosiness at "SMOKING".
Saanenland Breakfast
In the breakfast room between the "Stafel" and "La Gare" restaurants, our large and rich Saanenland breakfast buffet awaits you every morning.
Bread and rolls, cheese and yoghurt, cold cuts and ham - here you will find only fresh products, mostly from local producers in Gstaad and the surrounding area. For our little guests we serve a special children's breakfast.
Bernerhof Card Half Board
If you book your room with half board, the Bernerhof Card is already included, giving you CHF 55 of «credit» per person and day, to be used to your heart's content for food, wine, or other drinks. If you book without half board, you can still enjoy the benefits of the Bernerhof Card for an additional CHF 40 on the room rate.
Our Chef Marcel Reist
Marcel Reist has been our executive chef since 2016. Besides an unbridled passion for creative cooking he possesses years of experience in various renowned restaurants in Gstaad and Switzerland. Marcel Reist is responsible für our three kitchens with a total of 42 Gault Millau points and is assisted by our long-standing sous-chef Tomo Kentera, which totals 45 employees for the three kitchens.

If you enjoy a healthy breakfast in the morning, you will love our large Saanenland breakfast buffet with fresh regional products.
Cigar Lounge «Smoking»
All Bernerhof restaurants are non-smoking. But our smoking guests do not have to forgo their passion: The cigar lounge «Smoking» is fully at their disposal for the enjoyment of a fine cigar or pipe.
