The Bernerhof now enters a new chapter – honouring its heritage while embracing the future. Under the leadership of François Grohens, returning to a house he knows and loves, we continue the story of this unique place with dedication and heart.

Current: Pictures by Zana Briski at the Bernerhof

It is an honour for us to be able to exhibit pictures by the internationally renowned artist Zana Briski in our hotel.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker and photographic artist was awarded the Academy Award in 2005 for her documentary film ‘Born into Brothels’. For many years, she has travelled the world and devoted herself to artistic exploration of animals in their natural habitat. Her works are exhibited internationally and represent a unique, consistent artistic style – characterised by patience, precision and great respect for her subjects.

The works remain on permanent display at the Hotel Bernerhof and are permanently accessible – both to our guests and to external visitors.
