«Basta by Dalsass» is our unique Italian restaurant in Gstaad with its chef since 2015: Andrea Gaia. Andrea has been trained by Martin Dalsass (Talvo by Dalsass in St. Moritz) himself, according to a philosophy of «Back to Nature» with the easiness and simplicity of mediterranean cuisine. Dalsass' philosophy rests first and foremost on the high quality of the products used, on their unadulterated preparation preserving their true flavors, and on the use of the purest of olive oils.

The Basta is closed till october
For breakfast we serve Italian espresso with fresh panino or croissant, and a fresh newspaper on the side. Lunch and dinner offer daily changing specialties and the renowned Basta classics like Cavatelli. Before dinner we tempt your taste buds with small appetizers and a fine selection of wines, gins, etc.
We are very happy about 15 Points, that we received from the GaultMillau 2017 for the cuisine of the Basta by Dalsass!
