Wonderland for ski & snowboard
200 kilometers of skiing pleasure between 1000 and 3000 meters altitude – and every day you get to choose the kind of skiing you want:
Glacier feeling on the Glacier 3000. Endless pistes on the Rinderberg, Lengebrand, Saanerslochgrat, Hornberg, and Horneggli. Connoisseurs love the Eggli-La Videmanette area for its perfect skiing and boarding experience. Wasserngrad mountain offers «Tiger Run», the steep slope of legends. And for those who haven't had enough during the day, there is a wonderful night run on the Rinderberg.
Wonderland for cross-country skiing
The destination of Gstaad is one of the best cross-country skiing areas in Switzerland, offering all levels of difficulty and delighting both classic cross-country skiers and skating enthusiasts.
There are five different cross-country ski runs to choose from every day, all of them very different in nature and landscape. There is also a night trail, a dog trail, a permanent cross-country trail and a special training trail designed by Nathalie von Siebenthal (U23 World Champion 2015). In addition, the Glacier 3000 trails make it possible to go cross-country skiing during the summer months and in the off-season.
Wonderland for snowshoe hiking
The untouched alpine landscape around Gstaad is the perfect place for snowshoeing in winter. You will find peace and quiet as well as wonderful panoramic views. Because there are no prepared trails for snowshoeing, it's important to know where to go. Wonderland for winter walks
Around Gstaad our guests have more than 30 well-prepared winter hiking trails at their disposal. The trails are maintained throughout the winter and well signaled with pink and yellow signs. In addition, there are leisurely walks and theme trails in the valley, which have a very special snow-enchanted charm in winter.
Wonderland for sledding
Toboggan fans will also be happy in Gstaad – thanks to six prepared toboggan runs. Since winter 2018/19 we have an additional highlight to offer: three different toboggan runs around the new gondola lift at Saanersloch. And for those who would like to stop for a bite to eat, there are several mountain restaurants and snow bars along the way...
